Dr. Benetta Collins Andrew
Chairperson
Dr. Benetta Collins Andrews is a renowned Specialist Pediatrician and the Liberia Medical and Dental Council Chairperson. Her primary goals involve reducing healthcare disparities and fostering a robust healthcare workforce in Liberia. With a specific focus on infectious diseases, she actively contributed to combating the 2014 West Africa EBOLA virus outbreak. In addition, she served as a WHO Technical Assistant and Case Management Physician during the recent Coronavirus pandemic. Dr. Andrews is deeply involved in clinical research, having led several studies and published a research article on malaria. Additionally, she shares her expertise as a part-time lecturer of clinical pediatrics at the A. M. Dogliotti College of Medicine.
Dr. Andrews holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Doctor of Medicine from a renowned institution. She is an alumnus of the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship program, specializing in Global Health with a focus on HIV/AIDS Policy and Prevention. As an active member of professional organizations, including the Liberia College of Physicians and Surgeons, the West African College of Physicians, and the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, she continuously expands her knowledge and skills through certifications in malaria control and postgraduate nutrition. Dr. Andrews currently serves as the Assistant Secretary General of the Liberia College of Physicians and Surgeons and has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Liberia Medicines and Health Products Regulatory Authority, demonstrating her commitment to advancing medical training and healthcare regulation in Liberia.
Mr. Fayiah is a Master candidate in Public Health Nutrition from Cuttington University school of graduate and Professional Studies, Hold Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Kakatiya University, Telegana India, He studies and earned Diploma as a physician Assistant from Tubman National Institute of Medical Arts Monrovia, Liberia.
Mr. Fayiah Work as Physician Assistant with Ebola treatment unit open and operated by International Medical Crops (IMC) where he was trained in Psychosocial first aid care provide and Post Ebola Syndromes case manager, He work with a research group call prevail which is researching on the development of Ebola vaccines in Liberia, Mr. Fayiah work with Doctors without Borders in their pediatric project as intensive care physician Assistant for 5yrs.
Currently Mr. Fayiah is employed with Liberia medicines and Health products Regulatory Authority (LMHRA) as Assistant manager for pharmaceutical information and publication.
Mr. Fayiah is currently the national president & CEO of Liberia National Physician Assistants Association (LINPAA), a Board chair person of Allied Health Sciences Professionals of Liberia and a Current CO-Chairperson of Liberia Medical and Dental Council (LMDC)
Mr. Fayiah have great interest in medical regulatory science.

Dr. Augustus Garlet Quiah
Registrar General
Dr. Augustus Garlet Quiah is a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Professionals and currently training to becoming a Substance Use Disorders Specialist. Prior to resuming office as Registrar General, he served as the Deputy Director for Hospital and Specialty Services and Focal Person for Continuous Professional Development at the County Health Services Unit, for a short period but ensuring the CPD SOP guidelines was revised and launched with support from the Valued Boards, WHO and Bridge U; before accepting his responsibility to serving under the leadership of Dr Benetta Collins-Andrews at the LMDC. He also served as Technical Assistant to the Mental Health Unit, Ministry of Health, with special interest in the Disease of the Brain – Mental Health and most importantly a condition that has made His Excellency, President Dr George M. Weah after due consultation with major stakeholders to declared a national emergency on drugs abused among the young people in Liberia.
Dr. Augustus Garlet Quiah, has also served as County Health Officer, Bomi County; County Health Officer, Grand Kru County; Medical Director, Bong Mines Hospital, Fuamah District, Bong County; and Medical Director at the Martha Tubman Memorial Hospital Zwedru Grand Gedeh County at which time the hospital won an award as 2nd Best Hospital in Basic Packages for Health Services in 2010. He has equally served as Medical Officers in many in Redemption and Bensonville Hospitals respectively.
Mr. Patrick Bolay Josiah, Sr. is a highly accomplished professional currently serving as the Comptroller of the Liberia Medical & Dental Council (LMDC) since August 1, 2010. With a solid foundation in the banking sector, he has held significant positions that have honed his expertise.
Mr. Josiah's educational background is equally impressive, reflecting his commitment to continuous learning and professional growth. He obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master's degree in Finance from Cuttington Graduate School. Before that, he completed his Bachelor's degree in Management and Accounting from the esteemed University of Liberia. Additionally, he holds a Diploma in Accounting from the Lincoln Commercial Institute, highlighting his dedication to acquiring practical skills in his field.
Mr. Josiah's tenure in leadership positions within the banking sector and his extensive educational background has equipped him with a comprehensive skill set and deep industry knowledge. As the Comptroller of the LMDC, he brings invaluable expertise to his role, ensuring the effective management and oversight of the organization's financial affairs.

Medical and Research Director
Mr. Colmah is a highly results-oriented, seasoned, and dedicated Health System Manager, Clinician, Planner, and Program Operations and Administration professional with over a decade of relevant and continuous work experience in both government and non-governmental organizations. His practical hands-on experience includes roles as Medical and Research Director at LMDC, Assistant Administrator at JFK Memorial Hospital, Regional Director at LMDC, and Program Consultant at WACS (West African College of Surgeons-Liberia Chapter), encompassing operations management and program implementation.
He demonstrates notable proficiency in awards management and strict adherence to donor regulations, with a strong grasp of entities such as LMDC, WACS, and USAID. In the realm of human resources and administration management, Mr. Colmah excels in strategic change management, compliance and risk mitigation, urban planning, emergency preparedness, and humanitarian response. His expertise extends to areas such as medical internship programs, partner administration, budgeting, performance assessment, learning and development, talent management, succession planning, as well as grievance and discipline handling, all guided by industry best practices.
In addition to his extensive professional experience, Mr. Colmah's educational background is equally impressive, underscoring his dedication to continuous learning and professional growth. He holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Cuttington Graduate School of Professional Studies, a Master of Science (MSc) in Regional Science/Planning from the University of Liberia Graduate School, and a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing with a specialization in Psychology from the University of Ghana (Legon). Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. (Candidate) at Lincoln University. Mr. Colmah's unwavering commitment to excellence positions him as a dynamic and forward-thinking leader in the field of Health System Management.
