The Liberia Medical & Dental Council highly appreciates the opportunity given it by the former Chief Medical Officer of Liberia, Dr. Bernice T. Dahn to spear head the drafting, validation and distribution of this Code of Conduct for all Health Professionals in Liberia. It is because of the credibility of the Council that has led to this and it is hoped that all who practice the health profession hereafter will use this Code to guide them in their daily practice.

The Council also wants to take this time to extend thanks and appreciation to all the various Health Boards that contributed towards the drafting, validation and distribution of this Code especially the members of the drafting committee.

We also extend thanks and appreciation to the Secretarial Pool of the Liberia Medical & Dental Council for their tireless effort to get this work done. Finally, we say thanks to the Liberia Medical & Dental Council for allowing us to use the facility and equipment during the crafting of this Code.
